Cooking lessons from Florence
Cooking with Foodie offers online cooking classes with experienced Italian cooks who are based in Italy. The cooks speak English, French, German and Italian.
This is such a fabulous opportunity to have private cooking lessons directly from Florence, in the comfort of your own kitchen.
How it works
- The website allows you to select the dish you wish to learn from scratch.
- Then select a date and time and head to checkout. Remember to set a reminder for your class in your calendar.
- Your instructor will contact you with information on what ingredients you will need to prepare the dish as you follow the lesson.
- Then download the program on your device and you are all set for your online cooking class.
What to expect from the class
Italian cooking requires a good understanding of the ingredients, so you will learn about selecting seasonal produce, which foods go well together, and best techniques to capture the flavours.
These live cooking lessons offer personalized advice, tips and suggestions best suited to you and the equipment in your kitchen.
By the end of the class you should have clear step-by-step instructions on how to recreate the dish, with a good understanding of what substitutions or other techniques may be used.
They will be adding even more lessons soon, but in the meantime, I can’t wait to sign up for the Classic Sicilian Arancini class, how to make Fresh Pasta, and the delicious Caprese cake, to name a few!
And I look forward to that Cassata recipe being added to the list!
Buon appetito!
